"If it isn't broken, it can still be fixed"
I have narrowed down my pannier purchase to Jesse Odysee or Bumot Defender. Of course I have an issue/question on each system. As background, the bike is a 2015 and will be used off-road, loaded for camping. It will not be a road only rig.
Jesse? - I would rather have a rear horizontal cross bar as part of the mount. Do Jesse owners have any issues with the left bag sagging or deflecting down when heavily loaded. From a lot of rear end pics I see the left bag "appears" to sag a little.
Bumot? - their mount does not come with a stiffener plate for the rear of the left foot peg. You either get a spacer to use or try to find the OEM peg reinforcement plate. This system does have the rear cross-bar. So in a way, I have the same question. Is the system sturdy up and down and left and right using only the spacer.
Thanks in advance for info on either system.
