Is anyone regularly hitting or breaking 200 miles or more per tank?

I'm getting better mileage now that there is 15000km/9300 miles on the clock.

My last fill was at 405km/251 miles, so 44.25miles/gallon measured.

That was of course without using the 5 gallon auxiliary fuel cell on the back seat.

Especially with summer gas I can regularly stay over 50 mpg, but my commute is perfect for high mpg. Lots of 50mph with few stops over the 37 miles each way.

I seldom fill up at less than 200 miles, and then it's only by choice (no gas stations expected for 50 miles). I'm getting between 48 and 50 mpg consistently. I cruise the Pennsylvania Dutch country a lot at 50 mph in tame 'T' mode. I am really surprised at the good mileage especially in the cold weather. What a bike. Like everyone says, it just gets better. 4100 miles since I bought it last November...

My pennies worth. I hit 205 then the reserve comes on and I can take it 43 miles on reserve Thats fully kitted with my son on the back. Wednesday I hit 249 miles and still got to the petrol station OK. That is the most I have done so far. ::009:: ::008::

I fill up at about 210 miles all the time and find it takes about 20 liters to fill. This is combined city hiway with the K60 scout tires. The bike has 7000 kms on it now.

2 up at 85-100mph, 32mpg. Around town, 42mpg. Only about 2000 miles on it. I have never pumped in more than 5.1 gallons and I've been over 40 miles into the "reserve".

last I checked I am getting 48-52 mpg.

Try burping the tank. I know I get more gas in after doing that. I fill the tank...close the gas cap, shake the bike back and forth between my legs, open the cap and put more gas in. I have done it on every bike I own and get easily .5 of a gallon more in there.

google...burping a motorcycle gas tank

On my commute at mostly 65-75 mph I routinely go over 210 miles before the idiot light turns on. I ride TCS1 in T mode very conservatively. Now when I take the girl into the mountains to play the light comes on as early as 140. That's predominately sport mode TCS 2 or off

My bike is similar.

Hope to be able to get more per tank when the gas supplies switch to the "summer" blend.

I'm getting close to the same mileage and I'm not gentle on the throttle. I wonder if this is an elevation thing for Colorado.

Might simply be a gas quality thing. I'm stuck with E10 nearly all the time and it does reduce the mpg. When I get real gas, I get noticeably more range.

I'm avg 49 combined, and that's at 8500 mi, and I'm not the biggest guy myself but most of that 6k+ is Fully Loaded, and majority is super slab, also T-mode exclusively.

I have data points for 17 fuel stops:

46 mpg
Average pit stop was at 191.2 miles
Could go 234 mi and would have 1 gal left in tank
Could go 257 miles and then would start pushing the moto.

Depends on where I am (fuel easy to find) I am gong further when ever I can.
I have gone over 200 miles 6 out of 17 stops
I have gone over 205 miles 5 out of 17 stops
I have gone over 210 miles 2 out of 17 stops (1 time I could have gone 259 mi to empty and the other 275 mi to empty (enjoying the back country).

200 miles should be easy. Even 250 should be doable. Can't remember my last tank full but over 400kms.250 mi. Still only have 600 miles on the bike. ::001::

I rode the S10 completely dry...at 290km the gas indicator started flashing and the F odometer started counting. It stalled at exactly 354km. It was a combination of highway, twisty uphill back roads, gravel dirt roads and some urban streets and boulevards with slow stop and go traffic. So now I know!

51mpg Imperial today which I believe is 42mpg US on my new S10. That was whaling on it quite a bit up and down, breaking it in. Almost finished doing that. My GS12 gives me up to 60mpg Imperial normal riding with lots of good bursts of speed. Hate going slow. ::001::

I have just refilled my third tank on my new S10 and am getting amazingly good economy.
I used the bike for commuting only for the 437Ks that I got out of the tank. The commute is 50KM of quiet, flat, heavily policed highway with 100K speed limit.
When I filled up I still had 3 Litres in the tank.
4.8 L/100Km or 50MPG (US) or 60MPG (UK).

about the same numbers that I used to get out of the GS.

Never go past 46mpg myself. Must have a heavy throttle hand.
