Good Evening all,
Hope you are all well in these interesting times. Just a quick hello. I am a long time rider and mulling over getting another bike. Currently got a 10 plate Varadero which is a fine machine and I have been having some fun with it for about 6 years now. I have just recently started thinking about the 1200 so interested to read up about it and find the good, bad and ugly. I was originally thinking about a ,coughGScough, sorry, something in my throat there, but the price, even secondhand I find difficult to swallow And to be honest fuel range on the standard isn’t enough for my liking.
If the Varadero was shaft drive and had cruise control I probably wouldn’t even think about getting rid of it. I tend to do long trips, should have been in France this week, but circumstances and Covid conspired against me. So Ireland instead.
It will probably take me a year to convince myself that I need a new bike, but, so begins the process. I hadn’t given the yam any thought but, it seems to be ticking an awful lot of boxes.
so there you are. That’s me.
look forward to reading a lot on the 1200, mostly good I hope.
