I wan't impressed at all with the Vendors there again this year in Seattle. I can't seem to get it out of my head as to why there aren't individual booths for the Top 10-20 selling vendors at least. I don't mean for them to have a few small select items shown through the respecting local dealers who sometimes set up a booth. Now, I know the cost is high for this, but they wonder why more of their stuff doesn't sell? I want to see a booth from: Alpine Star, Olympia, Tourmaster, FieldSheer, Joe Rocket, SIDI, Gaerne, KLIM, Gericke / Hein Gericke, Rev-IT and so on!!! Have a factory sales rep showing all the product lines.
My wife is in the apparel business and she shows most of her represented clothing line of 400 pieces to 4-6 different shows for each season of the year (spring/summer & fall/winter), that is 8-12 shows a year!!! She sells product she shows!!!

Yes, the show I am referring to as "Detroit" is actually in a suburb called Novi. What I am grumbling about, is the fact that the Detroit/Novi show is always smaller than the shows in Chicago and Cleveland. I have gone to the show in more than one city, several times, and I notice this every time. If I want to see the good selection, I have to go to Chicago or Cleveland, because lots of vendors just skip the Detroit show. And rarely does the weather allow riding - it's usually a white knuckle drive in the car.

See, now if I'm going to drive several hours each way to a second show, that's the one I want to go to - because there will be far more difference between Toronto and Novi, than, say, Cleveland and Novi. I might just have to do that. :-\
