I rode over 1500 miles in a day and a half for some beer-battered saltwater crocodile.

I would ride a fair distance for good grub, but I would be eating alone because my other half wouldn't. :D

My wife Linda and I frequently ride 100 miles each way for a green chile cheeseburger. We rode 290 miles to Amarillo for a hamburger. Friends and I rode to El Paso for lunch, 260 miles and then 320 more to Tucson to get a hot dog for dinner. We rode ~600 miles the long way to Phoenix for a hamburger at the Heart Attack Grill and then back home. I rode 550 miles to Kanab, Utah to meet friends for lunch and then returned home. I rode 550 miles to Oklahoma City to get Linda a package of gum and returned home to give it to her. I confess though that the food is just an excuse for a ride and that many of these rides were submitted to the IBA for another certificate. This is why I am searching for a comfortable Tenere seat.

Technically, for me anyways, "it's all about the food"

Therefore, if I were to travel from the porch to Lake City Colorado, then I could make a case for a ~3000 mile journey for the Carolina Bowl at Southern Vittles.

But my line of reasoning is likely not what was actually meant with the question.
Still, at my age, it IS all about the food.

I have ridden over a 1000 miles round trip for a moon burger, in Moonshine IL. And have the sticker to prove it.
First off, was the burger worth it? I have heard they are pretty good!

Secondly, being from IL I have heard of this event numerous times but unfortunately have not been there yet. I had thought this was a exclusive HD event, but that being said, I checked out the website for the event and was perusing some pictures from 2016 and saw two different Tenere's in the first batch of photos. One of them they had installed a sidecar!! ??? ??? I have never seen that and it looked so cool and unique! This guy has to be a member of this forum right?? It looks like whoever from the event that was taking pictures they were infatuated with this as there are quite a few photos of this bike.

Here is the bike:

Here is the website: https://moonshine-run.com/Moonshine/Default.asp

Does anyone recognize this bike? was this a custom job or is there a kit for this??

There is a hack'd Super Ten on this forum. She can speak up for herself if she wants. That said, I don't think that is her hack. (I could be wrong).

One of my first LD rides a friend asked me if I wanted to go get a hot dog. I said sure, where? We were in Portland, OR. He said, "Los Angeles". So we rode to LA, had a hot dog at the infamous Pinks, then rode home the next day. 2K in 2 Days. No cert, just did it to get a dog.

I may need to ride for Pie tomorrow.... just cuz.

Where are you getting pie? You're only 4 hours from my house
Thinking of a short romp up to Veyo Pies. Not far enough away to count as a day ride, just a wander. http://www.veyopies.com/ They do serve lunch sandwhiches and drinks too, but limited menu. Great pie.
