First off, was the burger worth it? I have heard they are pretty good!

Secondly, being from IL I have heard of this event numerous times but unfortunately have not been there yet. I had thought this was a exclusive HD event, but that being said, I checked out the website for the event and was perusing some pictures from 2016 and saw two different Tenere's in the first batch of photos. One of them they had installed a sidecar!! ??? ??? I have never seen that and it looked so cool and unique! This guy has to be a member of this forum right?? It looks like whoever from the event that was taking pictures they were infatuated with this as there are quite a few photos of this bike.

Here is the bike:

Does anyone recognize this bike? was this a custom job or is there a kit for this??

Not sure who owns that one. It's a Gen1 so the yellow was not factory and one was Elizilla's, which did get hacked, as Eric mentioned. However, the sidecar and other details are quite different, as can be seen in this thread on it:

Some fun riding in and around Pine Valley. The road between Enterprise, UT and Panaca, NV is a fun explore too. (219 to 319 heading West out of Enterprise) Paved on the ends, dirt in the middle.

No pie for me today, family issues to attend to.

I went several years ago, and yes the burger was good. I wouldn't say it was and HD event at all, more a sport touring bike event. A lot of long distance riders attended when I went.

I usually and often do travel up to 2 hours for a meal. There's some really great places around where I live that I enjoy visiting! If anyone is in the GTA area and interested in a lunch ride sometime let me know!

I read this thread with some amusement, only because I would not ride more than 5km for good food nor wait more than 30mins, that's just me, food is a way of staying alive, and if I want something I generally cook it my self. But I do get where you are all coming from, having lived in the US for over a decade, food is plentiful and reasonably priced.

I think it's more about the adventure...at least it is for me.

I rode 4500 miles just to eat in a mess hall in Deadhorse Alaska

::025:: My mindset is closer to yours. If I want to eat, I don't want to make an overnight stay to get there. ::025:: And I will rarely wait to be seated more than 20-30 minutes. ::017:: I like to eat, so I can always find something that I don't have to wait for. ::025::

I'm lucky where I live that we have such a rich variety of cultures and people who live here, we have so many options for food.., anything you can think of! So there is always something interesting to try no matter how far you go.

Well I'm riding from Winnipeg, Manitoba to St. John's Newfoundland. First stop when I hit St. John's ... Ches' Fish and Chips. It's 5392km via the Trans Labrador highway. They give free fish and chips on your birthday, just bring your D/L and enjoy.

'Archer' bought a new Triumph Street Triple 675 and we took it for a quick break-in ride on the Sacramento River. Had a late lunch at The Point Restaurant (Marina). I found this restaurant last year and enjoy it a couple times a month. Good food, service and excellent view of the Sacramento River and Rio Vista Bridge. I normally eat in the bar though they have very good indoor and excellent deck dining.

The first trip on my new S10 this spring was A 500 mile round trip to Hayward Wi. and back. Had lunch at Anglers Bar and Grille out on the patio. It was April 8th.

Wellinton, FL to Moonshine, IL about 1140 straight line miles but it took me 1300. The burger was good but it's not about the burger. Great ride, great gathering, highly recommended!
