It is a nice looking bike, but every time I ride my Super Tenere, I am reminded just how perfect this machine is for me. I would not be rushing out to replace it with anything, other than, eventually, a newer Super Ten. ::008::

Cheers,

Not sure what Honda is doing. Maybe bringing this to fizzle for a little bit, then "bang" in a couple of years?

To bring this bike to the american market at the recent Honda pricing points with no electronic suspension or cruise, and at it's weight really makes me wonder what they are doing. Granted, the V4 is a really nice engine, and the DCT is a big plus, but this has the mark of the old ST1300 which was in the $19K msrp range. I can buy a S10 or a number of the others for as much or less with much more "bang" for the buck.

Do not see it doing very well.....

As a side note, I wonder how well an electric windshield will hold up on a bike meant for rough roads.

I've liked all the Hondas I've had so much that if they had this one when I bought my Tenere, I probably wouldn't even have looked at anything else.
I tried hard to make any of the US available Hondas fit my desire for a larger, more upright riding position, more general purpose bike than my '95 VFR (which I really, really liked!). But they had nothing so I switched brands. I'm pretty sure they lost a lot of sales because they had nothing in this market segment.
