Honda seems to know how to get a lot of fun out of not a lot of rpm! Dirt Dad's GoldWind redlines at 6000rpm, the NC750X at 7500. Funny it seems like it rolls on forever in each gear. Not as in high revs but the motor makes rpm so slow and steady. Something to be said for slow revving torquey engines. Pretty sure the S10 falls into that category too. The NC seems really happy between 4000-6000rpnm. I find myself hanging down a gear to keep the revs at 4000 although it's just as happy if I shift it up. The motor absolutely purrs. With a solid 25-30mph headwind I was clipping along happily at 80 with plenty left so it's not lacking power. You guys are going to have to bare with me a bit, I am just impressed with this bike.
