Did 260 miles on the S10 the other day and my backside was uncomfortable after 30 minutes and painful after a few hours. The (modified) seat is sooo uncomfortable.
In fact, the most uncomfortable seat I've had on any bike in recent history..
Firstly I'm going to do the 'flat seat' mod to see if that helps (as I am always slipping forwards to the tank onto the less comfy part).
If that doesn't help, I'll go visit one of the local seat guys and look at what can be done.
Other than that, I am liking the S10. Corners very well and is so stable, secure and confidence inspiring to ride. Averaged 58mpg on the ride too! (has a remapped ECU).

Cheap fix tilted back standard seat works well for me, I recommend it.

The bike has had an ECU remap which ensures that thee air fuel ratio is correct at all times - this also improves performance and throttle response. Previous owner says he used to get low to mid forties to the gallon prior to the remap and low to mid fifties since.
The ride our where I got 58 was open road, so constant 60 to 80mph and no traffic.

As regards the seat I've done the flat seat mod. Still has some slope down to the from (due to the reshaped seat). That in itself might not be an issue, but the seat cover is not grippy. We will see..

I consistently get 58-59mpg, most probably due to the speeds I have to ride 60-90 kph!

I never get below 50mpg Stutrump, usually 54.
