Well I got the custom exhaust finished. Repacked with fiberglass instead of steel wool. SOOOOOO much better!
Made a custom end piece to attach SuperTrapp baffles to adjust backpressure and sound.
Final price was $200. Happy with the results!

1st is custom exhaust with SuperTrapp baffles,
2nd is custom exhaust open end, (this sounds the best but a little loud)
3rd is stock for comparison.

Hey Ace,

Nice job. What is the weight of the custom pipe? I purchased a Delkevic, which weighs 4.25 pounds. The stock exhaust weighs 14.5 pounds.

I compared the two. Saved 8 lbs. That must be why it feels faster now! ::003:: At least it sounds faster!
I'm gonna build a spring loaded end cap that will open, say around 5K RPM. It's winter anyway and riding has vastly slowed down!
