Thank you guys for the second welcome :)

As there are 200% tax on motorcycles here in DK I sure paid a premium price for the S10 but in the end I managed to get a 2700 euro/3000$ discount on the bike ;D

If the bike turns out as good as the dog the money was well spend.

See you around.

Thanks Tyke :)

It's nice with a warm UK welcome - most often when I visit the UK I get a wet one...

I really enjoy having the bike.

First service is out of the way and initial brake-in is over. The bike now has 3.300 km on the clock.

Today I'll mount a TT skidplate and with that I'm done farkling for now.
- OEM heated grips
- OEM centerstand
- Touratech lockable GPS mount
- TechSpec Gripster Tank Grips
- Altrider sidestand foot
- Off-The-Road 30 mm risers
- Off-The-Road front preload adjusters
- Touratech skidplate

I haven't decided on a luggage solution yet.
I ride solo and need 80-100 liters capacity. I'm inclined to go with a soft luggage option.
As I have no really long rides planned this side of winter I've got time to decide.

The S10 in good company - my girlfriends F800GS and a UK plated 883 ridden by a Kiwi who stayed over on his way through Denmark earlier this week.

After more than 12 years on this forum it's time to say good bye.

In 2015 I got my hands on a brand new T12.
I kept it for 7 years. In that time I covered 178.000 on it. It served me well!

I sold the bike last year in the fall. It was time for a change - not only in bike but also in life.

Since then my wife and I have purchased 2 Honda CRF 300 Rally.
They are stored at a friends place in Phoenix, AZ.

In 3 weeks we will cross the Atlantic to join our bikes and embark on an open ended motorcycle journey.

We have a notion of how the journey could unfold, but it’s crucial for us to keep an open itinerary that allows us to be spontaneous and continually adjust our route and plans guided by advice, our mood, gut feeling and the seasons.

You can read about the thoughts behind and the preparations for the trip here.
I will be doing a ride report on advrider.com during the trip.
Feel free to tag along and let me know if you would like to meet up, when we reach your neck of the woods.

I have enjoyed being part of this forum, but as we hit the road next month I will no longer have time to visit.

It has been a pleasure!

Cheers
Tonny
