Happy Trail panniers ore great. Have them on 4 bikes in the family and all like them. Great service also and quick shipping. If you live any where near, they have seminars in their shop all the time about many different suubjects. I will stop when in Boise this summer.

Reviving this for a question:

Has anyone looked into fitting the OEM lock barrels into the HT panniers? I haven't looked closely at the OEM locks or the HT stuff, so it may not be even remotely possible. Just curious.

Thanks!

Thanks guys.

Planning to grab an HT top box now that I see they are releasing the S10 plate soon...will add panniers later, so wanted to know if I should go ahead and just order the matching locks from the get go. Question answered!

Going to have to spring for some hard box's. Looking at Jesse's, TT and HT. Just wondering how you owners are getting along with the HT's. Any problems, defects, off road? Had em on a KLR and liked them except riding in the wind giant sales. Interested in all and any comments.

Happy trail panniers

I love my happy trails Tetons. A little scuffed from wear and owner abuse. They seal very well, and I like the empty space on the right side behind the rack. If you like clean functional design, you will like them!

Happy trail panniers

Workman's Panniers.

First bike I have ever fitted with boxes. (took some OFF my dads 72 CB750 when he shocked me by giving it to me)

Bought these simply on value quotient. Now I love them. Built like a tank. Completely dry. Plenty of room for me.

Probably only concern is the locks are on top facing up, and thus have rubber caps to keep rain out. Those caps may need replacement at some point. But should get a couple seasons out of them.

I have the Denali cliff cut. They keep the bike as narrow as possible but the internal width is equal to a gallon of milk. I changed out the hex bolts that came with them for allen button heads to make it easier to stuff soft luggage in them. The mount are rock solid. I'm very pleased with them

::026::, maybe even +10. 12,000 miles on mine and love them. 9,000 of that was Alaska and back where they got a daily workout. Zero issues, great boxes and sturdy, no flex, no bend racks. I never take them off.
A real value both in $'s and product. Would not hesitate to buy them again although a few of us had some delivery schedule issues. That aside, a first rate company

Those bags will serve you well I only put mine on for long trips were I have to carry a lot of crap. Otherwise a couple dry bags will do. They are easy to R&R. By the way it looks like your helper wants to get paid. ::008::

My helper was happy to have the last swig of beer out of my beer bottle.
I think he gets more excited when you say beer, then treat, cookie or bone!

Has anyone mounted up a set of the HT Cascades? pics? They say they are slightly taller than the Tetons - from the pic on their site they are slightly taller looking not lower but it is one pic not on an S10.

For those that have the Tetons, what pushed you to cliff cut or regular? The regular have more space and look to be more stable if you ever pull them off and sit them on the ground and also look easier to pack. Cliff cut? How are they to pack for commuting and for long trips.

How are the HT racks holding up?

TIA.

And more pics are always good!
