Hand Guard Extensions - 3D printing

Hello gentlemen. If someone needs better wind protection for their hands, they may have it. You just need to have access to a 3D printer and print. The model can be downloaded from the website below.
These are "plug & play" covers - for installation without glue or fasteners. The cover extends the original by about 60mm (2 23/64 inches). It takes 18 hours to print the kit.

I know two people with 3D printers, I have asked them but haven’t had an answer yet, but if they can, I can ask for 2 sets if you are interested Rob?

OK, I will ask my mates to print 3 sets, I’m not sure how much they will be yet but my mates say that they can do it for me.

i,ll as i say defenetly have a set, a guy on facebook apparently paid the money for it and couldn,t get it to download and lost the money so ask the op whats going on

No...it is not a true at all - I sent by privat message link for him. Generally license is not for selling goods for other - so...remember, only private use.

thats good i just saw the facebook thing that he'd paid and it didn,t work if its ok thats great news as longdog is going to get his mate to buy and print for us in the uk so thats great thanks for reply

I have tried to buy the files from CGTrader but without success so far, there seems to be issues with the website. I have contacted Bartek and if CGTrader doesn’t work, I have offered to buy the files directly from Bartek.

there is a guy called paul UK on facebook who's mate has just made him a set he asked his mate if he,d do some and he has said yes, he,s saying £30 posted UK, he got grey getting black in as well i,m waiting for reply

A friend has a 3D printer and I've sent him the link to look it over and provide me a quote to print a set.

I'm curious, have you ever looked at making extensions for the bottom of the hand guards? I think a lot of air whips up through the bottom and this might make things that much warmer during 5C rides, or more dry, in the rain.

The bottom extension? hmm I will look if is difficult to design.
