I did indeed, I also found my finger tips and thumb got a cold blast of air. I had some corrugated plastic so used that as it was easy to bend to shape. I've attached some pics.

When I had a Strom there was a guy on the forum that vacuum formed them and they fitted the Strom a treat and worked really well so I tried to copy the idea.

I have been trying to buy the 3D model files from CGTrader. After a few emails, they said that CGTrader doesn’t recognise many email addresses and they suggested I use a Gmail or Yahoo account which I did. That worked and I made the purchase but so far, no files! I have sent yet another email to CGTrader!

I should add that Synk has been very helpful and I am confident that he will come up with a resolution for me. :)

This is an interesting project. I will be buying the originals, taking a look, provably retouching them too. If anybody wants a pair please let me know.

Interested in this definitely, let me know when you've had a play and how much.
I dont want to overlap anybody that is already making this, if already someone, please let me know.

I cant print them for you for sure. I'm trying to get the originals, since Synk published them in 3 sites, 2 does not accept payments and the 3rd is in polish :D
Once I purchase get the originals I will start printing a pair right away and letting you know.

It came out good after the retouches. It takes around 7 hours to prince each side (on good quality, I don't like to rush it or lower the quality)
Printed in ABS (for better resistance), it has a lot of support for printing, so part needs a little work to clean the support.
I already have 1 person for testing them (in UK) but I'm willing to send another pair to someone for free, so he can tell me how they went and take some pictures

If anybody is interested send me a message!

As everyone knows, U.K. has left the EU, I am posting a link to an article from the BBC News website today which outlines just one of the ways this will be affecting us in U.K.
