GPS on the Motorcycle - Mapquest Routes

I just found this tonight, it's called Tyre:

It looks like it leverages Google Maps to create a list of waypoints, that can then be saved as a Garmin gpx file and imported. I haven't given it much of a go yet, but my initial look shows some promise.

Ditto...just popped the same down for a refurbished waterproof Nuvi 550. Thx for the tip. Seems like it's brand new; works fine as best as I can tell. Probably a good starter model for me anyway.

Q=do you need to have the optional chip to download the tailored mapquests into? The instructions are really vague and only identify the chip to download images to, rather than data.
