Ouch, yeah that won't work for lane splitting. I'd rather have those Givi outbacks, but that width is show stopper for me.

No lane splitting in Texas so the width is no big deal. I am looking at total storage space the main function of the luggage.

I can split just fine with the 37L/48L combo. 40.5" across, but just about the same width as the handlebar + handguards which I use as a marker. I wouldn't attempt at 44" across though.

So Motostorm told me they would ship yesterday or today at the latest but have not yet received shipping notification. Typical experience?

I ordered my bags Monday and just got a shipping notice with FedEx tracking number. I ended up buying the 37/48 combo along with the 58l topbox. I am pretty excited.

Ordered my 42L top box on 7/21/15 and just got notice of shipment today. I guess they had to wait for the rear rack to come from Givi. Hope this box is as nice in the flesh, errrr aluminum, as they look on the web.

My bags were delivered last Thursday. So it took 10 days to get my racks and bags. I am very impressed!

If anyone needs a three key set or a back pad for the big top box let me know. They are both brand new, never out of the packaging.

I received an invoice from FedEx last week showing $0 due regarding tariffs or duties. Guess they got it right this time! Used the top case for my recent 9-day 3600 mile tour from SoCal (Ventura) to Spokane Valley, WA and back. I've got to say, I'm really pleased with this case.
