Pulled the trigger last night. Been thinking of adding a Great Basin to the mix for longer trips on the Ten since I met the GL guys last July at an event.

Looking forward to trying a test pack, mount and ride late next week. :)

Went with yellow. ;)

No idea how big these actually are, though if memory serves, they can hold a decent amount of gear. I've seen them in person, just not recently. After a run for a week last summer on and off road, I'm in the soft luggage camp. So figured if 2014 was going to be a year of "using what we own" instead of buying new stuff, I should get what I want/need while it's still 2013! :D

Awesome! Congrats! I'm strongly considering a soft saddlebag setup next time I have to outfit a bike to help keep weight down.

Yup, that and flexibility, and the ability to manage trail repairs a bit easier, no getting bend out of shape, etc. They come with their own tradeoffs, naturally, but my preference runs soft. :)

I actually got the gear on the 24th and opened it yesterday. Typical excellent quality product from GL. :)

Going to do a test pack today and mount it on the bike for a ride. :)
