OldRider posted the recall report above but I could not get it to scroll down. Here is a link to the report:
NHTSA Recall No. : 18V-695 --> link
This is a new recall, the tentative schedule is in the NHTSA recall report 18V-695.
It probably takes some time to get the VINs identified and into the NHTSA and Yamaha USA databases.
The NHTSA report says that all affected year models (2012-2013 Yamaha XTZ12) were included in this recall.
Some have already checked for their VIN and have not found that their bike was included but I would keep checking or just wait for a letter.
I have been checking the NHTSA and Yamaha USA websites for my VIN daily and neither has shown this recall for me.
This morning it now shows up on Yamaha USA but not NHTSA.
Here are some links for the VIN searches:
NHTSA
Search the VIN from the home page. --> link
Or navigate to: Home Page / Recalls / VIN, then search from there.
Yamaha USA
Home page - link
At the bottom of the Home Page there is a link for Product Recalls.
Edit: I must have been writing while EdR was posting basically the same thing, this is just the long winded version.
Edit, Nov 2019: Added links to associated documentation for NHTSA Recall number 18V-695
