Nice. That works. We have similarly equipped Terere's. I have the Rumbux bars, the Wolfman racks are on order, I am going with their Rocky Mountain bags, I have the same tail bag, and when my Heidenau's wear out, I will be getting the Mitas Dakars like on your bike.

Haha. Good solution!

I forgot it once. I just zip tied it to a wire down by the plug so the next time I did an oil change I remembered where it was. It didn't drip so I didn't lose any sleep over it.

Does anything leak or get messed up (oil in the wrong places, fuel out the cap, etc) when you lay a bike over like that? I dropped my bike once in a field and it didn't seem to care, but is that cool to just lay it over? I did want to see if I could pick the bike up in my yard.

It is an awesome pic.
Represents the Tenere in a light that few non Tenere folks would understand.
It's a dirt bike!

That's a good fix. It also gives you pratice on picking up techniques.
That's what I do to my Goldwing when I change the rear tire

:-\

No problem at all. Nothing leaks out. I do wait a few minutes before starting it so the oil will settle. Sometimes if I start it too quickly the oil light will come on for a little bit. It does record each tip over in the diagnostic log. I just go in and clear the codes every now and then. That way if you take it to the dealer, they won't know its been down.

It's seems so easy to pick the bike up in the yard. It never as easy to do on the trail for some reason. :D

I watched a Yamaha team wrench put a clutch in an R6 in the pits at Road America in MINUTES while jaw jacking with a fan and never loose a drop. He leaned it way over and held it with a tie down. I filed that (this) trick away and have used often.
