A buddy dumped his Speed Triple and snapped off the shifter peg. We came up with this rig to get him home:

Then a few days later he sent me a pic with his "solution" and it gave me an idea. So I did THIS today:

That is a Woodcraft piece, normally sold as a spare part for their sport bike rearsets. It's ~$20 from a bunch of places online. I simply cut off the stock shifter peg and drilled a hole to bolt this on.

<$30 and <1 hour invested.

Nice mod, and zerk! ::008::
The zerk had been on there forever. I'm still torn on that mod. Yes, it works to get the grease in. However, I find that greasing it with "Red n Tacky" which is normally in my grease gun isn't the best solution. That oozing green you can see in the pic is Belray waterproof. That is the REAL ticket to slick shifting.

Just ordered one from Revzilla. Thanks for the idea. ::008::
Question...I'm guessing it doesn't come with a bolt?

It did come with a bolt, but the bolt is design for a countersunk hole. I decided that was too fancy for me and went with a standard bolt since the Tenere has plenty of clearance behind the shifter.

I looked at it and decided I didn't need the extra joint to come loose.

Thought the same thing but it is a solution for big foot or small foot.

No pics, but mine is modded now. Looks just like yours, minus some rotational differences. :D

Glad you did. I got the OTR folding and adjustable lever and two weeks after installed, it broke.

And then, after one month it broke again. What a piece of junk. It broke at the same spot. And also, the spring of the foldable lever broke.

It is junk
