Of all the bikes I've owned the 1991 Ducati 907ie and my 1998 Honda Super Hawk were my favorites! ::008::

Everybody loves the new baby. Some were more memorable than others
'84 Nighthawk S (in blue 5 yrs.)
'91 VFR (loved the pre-VTEC V4 5 yrs.)
'02 FZ1 (best all around bike I'd ever owned. Sporty, Tour-ey, whatever.....but not a dirt road lover 10 yrs)
the new baby.....2016 ST ES. An even better all around ride for whatever I'm up for.

Wish I had pics of my first bike at age 23..... a new 78 CB550K....
I ran from the law...... & the law won
Or my second..... a Chappy Red 79 SR500 ...... loved that bike.... as you'll see further on...
This 81 Seca 550 was a screamer...
This 82 Seca 650 was more of a tourer.... my first long trip.... to Talimena Drive on a Sat-Sun mad day & 1/2 blitz
Then the second SR..... while waitin on.....
THIS..... SRX6 ..the absolute funnest bike I had ridden then. Spent the same amt as new cost...on engine wizardry.... OH MAN!
When the SRX sold... I was left bikeless for most of a year.... untill I found number 3 on my SR500 list... a black 78 which I have no pics of
It was well cared for & looked the part
Then... since the SRX was sold....& the SR was only mine for a short run... time to tour in 95 on this VX800
Several trips ensued.... great bike
...but....jus wait
The turn of the century brought a new direction.... & the second funnest bike I'd owned... a 93 TDM850.. & I thought the VX was nice?...well... the TDM made it feel like an antique in many ways
Norge 1300 cu ft..... a rocketship
First new bike since the SRX
Wonderful.... but I got something else that would change my direction
This.... 02 DL1000 bought from Indiana & ridden back to TX
Fabulous fun... replaced both the TDM & FJR at once
I brought this 83 Vision home from Wisconsin.... the guy I got it from had a huge bike collection scattered around town in several bldgs
My second Strom... an 03 ridden back home from Louisiana jus before the hurricane hit Slidell
It replaced the crashed orange 02
& then..... the beginning of a long run.... the Buell Strom... an 04 DL650 that came home with me from Dallas... I sold it with 87K on the odo
An 01 Trophy 1200 replaced the departed FJR.... I jus thought I needed a big tourer in the garage. It was nice..... but I was movin on...
I bought this 93 KLX650 from a guy in OK.... it was a hoot to blast around on.... but that seat!! OUCH
Divide & conquer
The Bandit..... that beautiful blue n white Bandit I brought home from KY..... it was a cool looking beast
But I couldnt sell it... literally
So I traded it......
For this.... a 99 Vulcan 1500 Drifter
The only cruiser I've ever owned...
But not for long.... it sold lickety split!!!
Then came the SV...... it was an 03 1000 ...scaaary fast..... on one wheel..... guess which one. Got it from Birmingham..... actually wish it wouldve been a 650 instead
But...man...it was nice

My last bike was a Rocket III Roadster. There is NOTHING like it on Earth, it is a beast of a machine with massive amounts of torque. It's only problem? Too heavy.

I have owned a few bikes over the years. Like a lot of us I started in the dirt, wasted a few years in High School with MOTO X and Hare N Hound...LOTS of fun *S*. I had a couple of road bikes before I got married then went many years with no bikes.
Since I started riding again I have had a 02 V-Strom. Sold it and recently acquired a new 2015 Super Ten. Both are great rides but I still love the Lean Greyhound looks of the pre mono shock Enduros.....guess we never forget our first love
This picture is a 74 DT 360 that is mostly restored with 2 minor mods
and of course my first Yamaha
Since I started riding again I have had a 02 V-Strom. Sold it and recently acquired a new 2015 Super Ten. Both are great rides but I still love the Lean Greyhound looks of the pre mono shock Enduros.....guess we never forget our first love
