Fall color popping in WVs high country

I'm going to the COG event down at the Breaks on Friday - about an 10-12 hour ride from DC. Brazenhead Inn seems about half way so I might drop in for lunch and see if anybody is around.

About Snowshoe - heard report of snow up there last weekend, so keep an eye on the forecast if headed that way.

I camped out at Brazenhead last friday night. Saturday morning I thought I seen a blue Tenere going north on 219. Road in cold and fog sat. Stayed at snowshoe inn saturday night . 3 inches of snow up on mountain. 36 degrees and flurries at the inn on sunday morning. COLD. I am headed to breaks this weekend . Camping or motel ? Sorry I missed you all at Snowshoe. Maybe better wheather next time. Andy-WV

It may have been us heading out. There would have been two Teneres, one black BMW K1200S, one red PC800 and a grey Mini Cooper. Yeah it sucked the weather was not great as I was psyched about meeting other Tenere owners. But I bet we can set something up another time. I found out tonight the rally is still supposed to be in Snowshoe next year so that is one possibility. We will figure something out.

4 that I know of, including you Andy. I'm leaving from DC Friday morning, 500 miles will be my biggest day yet on the S10. Have an interesting route mapped out through WV. Anyone from round here wants to join me, let me know.

Breaks has motel and camping - not sure if there's any rooms left but camping is close by.

A riding buddy and I are leaving the Louisville Ky area Friday morning and will be passing thru Elkhorn City and the State Park area sometime Friday afternoon and continuing on to Tazewell and Marion Virginia.
Then we'll be going on to Damascus, Shady Valley Tn, Asheville and down 209 to Waynesville then to Sylva NC, 281 to Rosman and stay Saturday night somewhere around Robbinsville or Tellico Plains.
I'll be on a blue Tenere and will keep an eye out for you guys.

I now have some family commitments on Saturday, so am going to do the Russ Fleming COG ride out of Union Bridge on Sunday and Marty's Dirty Dozen ride out of Bob's BMW on Monday (08:30).
