MarkJenn was more polite. the only problem is that you think you have a problem. "the rpms rise faster" with TCS off? Sure, because the tire is spinning, same thing when the TCS light if flashing, the tire is spinning. No real surprise that you ate up a rear tire so fast. You flog your bike. Ok, fine, you're having fun and that's great. But don't whine about tires going away fast or minor noises when you're using too much throttle at low rpm. All you're telling us is that you abuse the bike. In other words, the bike doesn't have a problem, you have a problem.
Next time you buy a new anything, and you think it has a problem when it's brand new, during break in, etc. TAKE IT TO THE DEALER AND TALK TO THEM ABOUT IT. Don't keep using it and hoping it will change. If there really is a problem, it will get fixed a lot faster. And there is less chance of them looking at your beat to shit bike and back at you and saying, "well, we might have fixed this under warranty if you had brought it in when it first started making that noise, but not now when you've obviously been thrashing it for months."
