I'm guessing that my dealership doesn't use them as a vendor. I trust my dealer, and they can't get them. What's the physical difference between the E spec, and the G? G is $32 less.
Think I found a listing somewhere that said the Es were XT specific and the Gs were BMW F650/850 range specific. Personally I’d be surprised if anyone noticed any difference.

The Continental Trail Attack 3 are great 90/10 tires and I've gone through a few sets. If you aren't going to ride off road check out their Road Attack 3 tires.

Me too. Very surprised how much lighter they make the bike feel. I’m quite use to the new tyre feeling, but the Contis were night n day better than the OE Bridgestones.

Hmmmm. Designed for a smaller bike, but still has the same load rating. Difference in sidewall construction? It couldn't be too different and still have the same load rating.

Motorcycle manufacturers often have model specific versions of tires made for them in order to accomplish specific handling/wear characteristics. Sometimes a different compound, deeper tread or custom profile. I’ve even seen slight variations in tread pattern between the generic and model specific coded tires, otherwise having the same name designation.

A41 looks good, but they emphasize performance in wet condition, which I don't care of.
I'm the same about the wet. Done enough of it in the past, not doing it now. But, the extra silica they put in there for the wet, works just as well in the dry.

We don’t really get much choice here, I know a guy that wont ride if theres any chance of rain and he basically doesnt ride, and is so rusty when he does its scary to see. Tyres have to work in the rain here, no one would buy them if they didn’t :)

I wish we had a chance to ride in the rain here in Southern California. :)

When I was in San Diego, rain wasn't an issue. Roads were rain grooved concrete; great traction. The roads here are totally different story. Chip seal that doesn't get rained on very often. When it gets just a little wet, it's slick. Today, I left when it was dry. Left the gym and it was 100% humidity, and misty. Throttle control appreciation day.

We have so few rain days, there's no need to force the issue.

The road Attack 3 are "only " for tarmac use.
The brother of my partner used to have them on his Ducati Monster S4r, the sportier version of Monster, and was really really happy with them.
If the price is similar to the trail attack 3 I would go for them... We ride most of the time together and I remember he was very pleased on wet conditions too...
Unfortunately now he has turned to the dark side and doesn't drive a Ducati...
All in all I just wanted to say they are very grippy in all conditions, much sportier than what we are used to.

Oddly enough, looking at both tires, the Trail Attack has more "land" area. Less grooves. The Road Attack has more grooves, than land. But the Trail's individual grooves appear to be larger than the Road's. They both look like street tires to me.

To me the trail 3 are "just" road tires eventhough are sold like 90-10 but I don't see how to be helpful on off-road...
The Road Attack are even better and gripper, I am actually surprised that one can get the same km- miles as the others Continental.
My brother on his Hornet 600 has had road Attack 2 and they were good.
My brother in law has had the road Attack 3 at the same time, more performing bike (998cc against the 600cc) and very pleased.
I don't recall the milage though not being my bike...
I used to swap my previous bike with his Ducati and all I can say both bike and tires, in my opinion , were outstanding...

If the Road Attack 3 last as Mr TenereStreets says you would get a super tire, maybe overkill (?) for our kind of bike...
But as you guys taught:
Better feel safe than sorry.
Hope this makes sense in English:D

Those are amazing mileages. I’ll be happy if I get around half that from my TA3s.
I debated the RA3s, but they were dearer than Trails and I believe they have less tread to start with so usually don’t last as long.
