Over the years I've never had trouble with Barnett springs, but IMHO their clutch plates are pure, undiluted crap. For years Barnett was pretty much the only folks out there that advertised as making "performance" clutch replacement parts for motorcycles, so we all tried them. Quite often their stiffer clutch springs did do what they were supposed to, but every single time I used Barnett plates (which was several, like an idiot) I had problems... starting with the first bike I used them on - a 1975 Honda CB550 Four we built as a road racer.
Their fiber plates come apart, and if they don't do that they slip like oil on ice with even the slightest heat or abuse. Each time there was a problem with a Barnett plate I'd put OEM plates in and the problems would be cured.
I like Barnett's coil-spring clutch pressure plate for the Super Tenere, and if I ever had any problem with the stock diaphragm spring set-up I would jump on the Barnett coil spring gig in a second, but I most definitely would not use their clutch plates.
Just my two centavos... YMMV.
