Pretty quiet over here. What do we have, 4 posts from Canadians? anyway picked up the bike yesterday afternoon did about 200 km. Left this morning about 7 and went through Algonquin Park. It's about 3 hrs North of where I live, 650 km round trip. The only complaint I have is the seat. Don’t know what it is, every bike I have owned I have problems with the seats (it must be the 4 1/2 ass cheeks I have). All the reviews are right; it truly is a great bike.

Super Tenere outside my man cave.
Congrats!!!!! Are you running the seat in the upper or lower position? Not sure if that would make a difference............

Thanks Rod, I have tried the seat in both positions with no luck maybe try and reposition the bars with a set of ROX Pivoting Handlebar Risers. Any other ideas other than Weight Watchers..

Way to go, Lime-ster. Glad you finally parked yourself on that new bike. Might as well bid your friends and family adieu.

Regarding the seat, I don't know what to tell you. Is the bike too tall for you? Query Troll. He purchased the extra low seat. He also has some kind of suspension lowering devices on order. Should be an overall 2 inch lowering from the normal low seat position. I'm sure that Corbin and Mustang and all those guys will have alternative seats soon. This is going to become a very popular bike. Glad to hear you finally got it.

Was hoping for a ride today but it's pretty ugly here. We had a big photoshoot last evening at Yukon Yamaha. All five of us gathered and got our pictures took. We will be famous soon. Keep an eye out for National Geographic, Science, Discovery, Popular Mechanics and probably the Toronto Glove and Mail, as well as the new Canadian 1,000 dollar bill. We'll be popping up everywhere. I tried to post pics last night but my *%#$#$*)*(& Internet is still ^!%^&*()_+. However, two of Northwestel's finest spent three hours here yesterday. Hopefully they are hot on the trail of my problem .... finally.

Bastards !! Vermin !!! Swine !!!!

But I say that in the nicest way ... R

Bike height is fine rem, I'm 6'1" and I think my inseam is 34" maybe I need to change the position of the bars or need time to break the seat in.....

Well the Harleys will be parked all the time now because the Tenere will be on the road most of the time. My step Daughter gave me the Harley Parking Only sign for Christmas a few years ago..

I too like the grey doors and racks, a bit of contrast. Keep me posted next week.
