Took off the front plastic exhaust cover (custom exhaust on now) and you have a great lift point to get it up on the center stand! ::015::

::026:: Me too. As you say - weight onto centrestand lever and pull back rather than up !

it is far easier to put the Tenere on the centerstand than my 2007 FJR!Donk said:::026:: Me too but compared to other bike its not the easiest to put on the centerstand
That's interesting - I have a UK 2013 World Crosser (crap name, nice bike) so obviously not ES, and that has grab handles. Are you saying they stopped fitting them as standard equipment when the ES came out in the EU?Stridey said:I don't have the passenger grab handles ( :'() cause we don't get 'em on Euro non ES models! Exactly! No center stand, no passenger grab rails, no rear rack, and a thinner passenger seat pad.neilbarnwell said:That's interesting - I have a UK 2013 World Crosser (crap name, nice bike) so obviously not ES, and that has grab handles. Sorry to make it more clear I should have stated Gen 2 2014 standard UK/EU bikes don't have grab handles from factory!neilbarnwell said:That's interesting - I have a UK 2013 World Crosser (crap name, nice bike) so obviously not ES, and that has grab handles. Thanks Dogdaze for partially clearing that up. I need to quantify my statement as per my reply above and further update the quoted reply from Dogdaze that Gen 2 2014 STANDARD (non ES) bikes equipment above are not fitted to UK/EU Gen 2 standard bikes. :-[Dogdaze said:Exactly! Ya, I was waiting for it to turn into an oil thread! ::002::Stridey said:I think this thread is going off topic now as the OP was about exhaust silencer cover removal to aid lifting onto centre stand!
