I am pleased to say I appear to have turned a corner regarding the old knee. For the first time since it happened I have noticed a difference as the swelling is finally starting to go down and I can walk a fair bit easier and it's not as painful. I'm not out of the woods yet, but the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter. Or is that a train coming towards me ?

I'd like to think I can get on the bike next weekend to put a few miles on before the trip - fingers crossed.

I have to say I've been thinking about highway pegs as we have a couple of long days on German motorways to contend with.

I think the pink ones are the wrong shade, they'll clash horribly with my cerise jacket... :D
