Yes. Both generations use the same battery. Is it compatible with ‘13 model? Should‘ve mentioned that…
It is compatible and is an improvement over the YTZ12S. Fits all years of the S10.Is it compatible with ‘13 model? Should‘ve mentioned that…
no a yuasa ytz14s is much much betterHi All, I’m in the process of shopping for a new battery, YTZ12S is specific for the ST, In Your opinions,is this the best option before I order this one? Thx!
Lithium on mine too, amazingly strong!Had a YUASA YTZ14S for 3 months, until it started failing on me...most likely it had a long shelf life before i bought it.
Went for a lithium battery after that, won't go back to "standard" ones.
Much, much stronger on cold starts, recharges much faster while riding, barely looses any charge even after a couple of weeks without riding.

Probably several of them. The difference is in the thickness of the plates and the overall quality. My battery rep came by a couple of years ago and he had a good selection of off brand batteries and the Yuasa battery to compare them too. All the batteries had been sawed in half. There was a big difference in the plates.I wonder how many of these alternate brands of batteries are still actually made by Yuasa?
The Wal-Mart batteries, 12S & 14S, had a clear plastic case top. You could actually see the plates. First time that I've ever seen that.. . . . There was a big difference in the plates.
