Did you happen to figure out the weight difference between the Arrow and stock? (Jaxon, do you know?)

I'm not interested in a slip-on unless it's functional and as quiet (or nearly as quiet as) stock... and not too expensive. Functional would mean smaller and lighter, and/or offered a power boost. Power boost is probably too much to ask of a quiet pipe without other mods, so the improvement has to be in size and weight. Which is??

How would you rate the noise level with the DB Killer in place?

thanks

Trevor
Sorry but I didn't get the weight of the two.

That said the difference was a little shocking to me. That much of a weight loss off the side does make a difference to me. i could feel it during fast direction changes. As for HP it's more about the TQ curve for me. With the DB Killer in you're not going to see or feel much of a performance difference. With it out it feels a little more torquey to me.

As for sound with the DB killer in it's louder then stock but not by much. When cruesing it's very mellow. I totally understand people not wanting a loud bike. For me I wouldn't have it any other way. Even with the DB killer out I don't find it loud. I want hear and feel the engine but I don't want it to annoy me and this is just right.

Now my other bike is loud.

The bracket is a sort-of ugly blemish on the pipe....wonder if something could be done to eliminate it or hide it somehow.....
Now if only I could buy that heat shield as a stock item - look really cool

I got "lucky", they built my arrow with the cannister the wrong way round so the bracket is nearest the footpeg end! That was after they first shipped a bmw f800 can in an xt1200 labelled box.........
