I suppose it means cutting the plate to get more room for the "wider" headers?
I think this is the part where the arrow flairs more forward and needs to be modified...

No problem - unless they've recently come out with a further forward plate it is definitely something to consider if you ride mountain passes. Many of the loose & rocky SW colorado mountain passes would give me pause for cause with that header protruding like that...

Exactly. I have an ACD skid plate sitting behind me right now. I'm debating how to proceed.

Options:
1. Revert to stock headers (what's the fun in that?)
2. Cut the plate and run it like that (scary thought withe the vulnerable header)
3. Cut the plate and weld on a guard over the header (probably decent, will destroy nice finish of the skid plate)
4. Create my own skid plate that fits (most fun, not the fastest)

AC, I designed my own mounting bracket for the front of my skid plate that mounts similar to the ACD. You might try some 1/4 or 3/8 spacers (in addition to what they give you, if any) behind the plate. That might space it forward enough to clear the headers?

Got a pic of what you did?

Good idea with the spacers. I'll look into it. I think it will wind up decreasing ground clearance a fair amount.

Is it really that bad that one header sticking out a bit? Will look into spacers whenever I get the headers, is Arrow the only company that makes headers?
To me it looks like a matter of when, not if, a decent sized rock caves in the thin header protruding through right there. But YMMV.

ACD had it covered for the OEM pipes, it's just the bend on Arrow that requires the cutout.

Yep - arrow is the only company making catless headers at this point.
