Does anyone here wear armor, specifically chest armor, under their riding jacket?
The reason I ask is that I recently dropped my S-10 in some deep gravel and I hit my side against something, I'm not sure what. It winded me and 7 days later my ribs still hurt.
Now I'm thinking perhaps I should consider wearing some kind of a chest piece underneath my mesh jacket (I live in Las Vegas it's a 110F degrees here so I have to ride with mesh).
I am seen a number of versions of protectors on Amazon some of which look too bulky to wear underneath anything. I've also seen some compression armored shirts that seem to have a basic level of armor built into them.
So I'm curious if anyone has any experience with these. I'm a relatively new rider and I do not intend to do anything super technical so I'm not really looking for anything geared towards hard core dirt bike or Enduro riding, just a bit of extra protection that is comfortable enough to wear.
