This isn't just about the Pig Trail but all the off road riding we could get in while riding the Pig Trail.
It was great going on a rode trip in January but you must be ready to ride in COLD temps and we camped so good sleeping gear is a must.
I also needed to pack light so I could ride trails with my son on his Mighty 990R.
The Pig trail is Highway 23 in Arkansas north west.
It just so happens to go right past the Mill Creek ATV trail area.
I had brought the family here 12 years ago on ATVs, so we knew a little about the area.
The camping was great and we find remote places to put up the tents.
It did get cold.
Now for some of the off road riding.
I can't get Eric to stop riding long enough to get a picture, I have to honk at him to stop so most of my pictures are of him .
He did take some of me in action but I haven't seen them yet and I'll add them later if he got any good ones.
Then Eric left me for Big Bend TX.
He had the week off and I had to come back home in a few days.
So without him I had to stick to Forest Roads and stay safe.
If you haven't tried riding trails with these bikes, they will do things that you would never think they would. They get traction when there is no traction to be had. I was never intimidated at any time and it just goes through with no problems. I would not recommend riding tough stuff by yourself though. If you just have a slide off the side of a trail you can't pick up a 600lb bike and set it back on the trail.
So it was jeep roads for me. There is still no one out here and very scenic.
Then on the way home I rode back roads all the way
This is in Eureka Springs Ar.
Beaver, Ar.
And Lake Of The Ozarks
Thank's for reading and forgive my poor spelling.
