I've been averaging 48-49mpg on my 2015 in S mode. Been in S mode for about 1800 miles so far.

I like S mode for extra torque in twisties, but I haven't been able to get used to the throttle sensitivity in S mode, esecially when going from a stop..its pretty jerkey and I just don't seem to be able to shift very smooth from 1st to 2nd gear.

I have tried using different clutch lever positions to adjust where the friction zone is, and it seems a bit easier for me to control the jerkiness of the throttle on the 4th, or closest, position.

Someone posted somewhere they though being in TC1 on traction control somehow effected the snappiness of the throttle. Anyone observe this?

I never change the TC from TC1 since I have been all pavement so far.

In reality, you'll seldom use more than you get out of T mode, so I only use S when not in traffic or commuting.

I have been in T mode for a few weeks now and I have to say I believe I prefer it. Has plenty of power for me andd much smoother. Still averaging high 40's - 50mpg. Not too shabby for a big 1200.
