No, not really. I only put the towel underneath her to the beach and back. We never travelled that far.
That dog loved the bikes. I could just leave her on the tank while im in the beach bar like that for hour easely. I used to say "guard it"...boy oh boy, nobody could come close. She's 11 years old...A bit tired, a bit of diabetes... We've got our selves a new puppy, but way to big for the bike.

This is not me, but i took the pic. There is a springer that travels in this. I've been looking into doing something like this with my Molly the Collie. I think I'll have a go at building something similar that goes over the rear seat/rack.

That pooch certainly travels in more luxury than mine. The Tenere pillion and luggage racks from Altrider would be a good flat surface to work off for that sort of build. Mind I like the simplicity of just strapping my effort to the pillion seat. Not sure a collie would fit there though... :D

I got him some Doggles and he loves it! We haven't gone on any very long rides yet, maybe an hour or two. But we are planning a multi day camping trip for Fathers Day weekend.
Ta for the links. ::008:: Hope to do longer camps too with ne dog, but gotta work out how to deal with bad weather should it drift my way... I am in the UK after all... ;)

He's a dog! As long as he isn't freezing or overheating, he's loving it! A bit of rain wont bother him or me one bit!

I managed to squeeze in my 7 month old ( at the time) giant schnauzer puppy for a ride to the beach. She doesn't look big on this picture, but she is. Plenty of loughs and photos when we came to beach.
