Absolutely. The triple is one of the best engines out there. If they do indeed bump it up to 1200cc as rumored it will be a real force to be reckoned with in this class of machine.

Hi guy's,

Swagger is correct, I don't have a Super Ten yet as I have been waiting for the Midnight Black colour which is out next year, on top of that I'm also waiting for the prices to be confirmed for non first edition rides, bottom line I'll be sorting it out around December and January. My dealer is also waiting for 2011 prices to be confirmed and see what the score is and if they can buy them into stock.

In terms of the Triumph I'll be looking at the new rides they are releasing but my sights are still firmly set on the super Ten. I'll keep ya guy's posted with any updates from my end.

The Ktm's look like good off roading, but i don't think they have Japanese level maintenance free ability!!! Just my thought!!
Recently cited in the Orange Crush section of Adventure Rider: "Changing the oil in a 950 Adventure involves removing the bike from the oil - not the oil from the bike".

Well stated & not too far from the truth.

Can't wait, purchasing tickets from ATL to SEA and will hit the IMS Seattle show the 2nd weekend in December. If it fits, I buy one for myself for Christmas.....

I've already put down a deposit but can't wait to check it out (and hopefully get a demo ride!!) at the MC show in San Mateo on the 20th. I sold my 071200 GSA as I'd had it with it's "character". Had fortunately kept the VStrom and figured that was going to be my main bike for quite a while (spent some serious coin getting it well sorted out)......until Yamaha produced the bike I've been waiting for for the last 10yrs!!! I was on the fence until a buddy in San Diego reminded me I'd said I'd "be the 1st to line up for a shaftie adventure tourer from Japan."

He called my bluff!! ;D
