Sorry to hear this news from H-D; it has been a brave effort, that has taken them some 5 years to develop.
The reasoning seems a tad opaque at the moment. They started by telling owners/dealers only to charge the bike on a level 3 240V charger, rather than from a household power socket, without explaining why the the issue has emerged at this stage. Hopefully they can find a fix, as this should work well as an urban bike, once they can get the volumes up & the price-point more sensible. In the meantime the Chinese will be left to inherit the electric market.
