Got mine today as well. Looks great...nice job with the gel coat. What type of vacuum press/bagging are you using?

Thanks guys, glad to see more and more happy customers. And to Chuck B.....no vacuum bagging here, just straight lay up. But I'll take that as a compliment that you thought it had been vacuum bagged ::015::

You've been playing with fiberglass for a while. My hat is off to you! ::012::

Got mine trimmed and prepped today. Ordered 3M vinyl carbon fibre in white. Should be in sometime this week.

Why is that? I will order a set of these and was planning to leave them as is if white color matched my stock white bike close enough. I have a white gel coat Pyramid infill panel and it is common and expected that they will not be painted.

Aftermarket parts I've dealt with in the auto industry have no UV protectors. Within a yr parts are chaulking and soon after cracking and breaking apart.

Darker colors go over a darker base easier, and it would be dark on the inside as well.

Thanks guys. Looks great Wenwa, I forgot about plastidip. I've never used it but have heard good things about it. I was thinking spray bedliner would be durable and hard to mess up also if anybody wanted to try that. As far as the gelcoat, white is all I have right now and didn't see any reason to get other colors because like others said it's probably best to coat/cover it with something anyway. And VPS1, GEN2S10, and Phplemel yours should be shipping out tomorrow.
