yes,
love that yellow, i nearly many moons ago had my tank and panels painted that colour, it would really stand out over here in the UK
as all you see is blue/grey/black mostly
As you say, would certainly stand out, and should get a conversation going…

Just looked , seems to be a dent..!!☹… new tank/ second hand around £150.. thinking might run with it, with a Baglux/ Bagster cover.. I’ll see what else is up with it, and let ya know…
There is a guy advertising in Classic Bike magazine for dent removal without the need to rub down, fill or paint petrol tanks. Not sure of his prices though.

That's been fairly routine around here for years. With as much hail as we get, it's quite popular. Around here it called "paintless dent repair". Probably the same as your guy.
