I'm Irish too.

Obviously my forefathers ate their vegetables though. :)

Defekticon, I see that you have the Barkbuster tapered bar brackets inboard. Do they mount up easily with no mods on the tapered bar? And by chance have you shortened the EVO bars?

I ask because I shortened my stock bars and it required relieving the brackets to fit in tight with the controls. One of the unintended consequences of trimming.

I set out with every intention of trimming, but I chose to just move the grips inboard 7/8ths of an inch instead incase I decided to go back. I really had to play with the inboard mounts to find a position that they were happy with. They're not even at all, but they do fit. the outboard mount works with the stock bar weight threads, so as long as you tap them, you're fine. I think they also have the plug mounts as well but I don't use them.

I played hell getting the Barkbuster Tenere specific brackets to fit with trimmed stock bars. And the smaller bar end weights don't seem to dampen the vibes as well.

I like the idea of moving grips inboard, and I would like to use the stock bar ends too. I have the tap for the threading, so no issues there.

Appreciate the reply.
