1,100 miles down and 1,100 miles up, with twisties like this and views of the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez. Ah Mexico, it is just so groovy I just want to go! (thanks to James Taylor!)
I have been buying fuel from this man at this same location for the last twenty years.
This is in Catavina in the middle of Parque Natural del Desiertos y Sierra de San Borja, no fuel either North or South for 100 miles, this is it for gas.
This gentleman's name is Ricardo and he remembers me every time I stop in yearly for Gasolina. He owns 2 identical pickups, each with 4 barrels in the back, 2 for Magna Sin, one for Premio and one for Diesel. His brother Ivan will drive daily either North to El Rosario de Abajo or South to Guerrero Negro to top off the barrels. I do love Mexico!
