greetings! I was here about a month ago thinking about buying a new S10, and I kinda dropped outta sight wanting to buy a Suzuki V Strom 1000 instead,,, a lot has changed cause the Suzuki Dealers are a holes and don't wanta deal and insults me with a low trade-in price on my current bike, the super low priced 2012 S10's are all sold, so I missed the bargains on the 2012 models.
I did test ride one and I """" L--O--V--E--D IT """"
OK,, one Yamaha Dealer is getting a 2013 S10 in this week where his first price was $11,500 and his 2nd price dropped to $11,200, its silver in color, he gave me $4200 trade in on my 09 Yamaha Tmax, no prep charges,,, cost with trade in is $7580 out the door.
The book price of my Tmax is $4800,,, but the 2013 is discount
He is getting that bike in for me and I made a commitment as long its not damaged I will buy it.

Whata think?? I was surprised that all the S10's were sold! I was holding out playing a waiting game thinking nobody else would buy one and the dealers would become desperate to sell by dropping their prices by giving them away,, I could of got a 2012 for less money but a 2013 will have greater value

He's giving you a friggin' awesome deal on the bike, but holding back a little on the trade in hopes of making a bit of a profit on the resell. Guy's gotta eat, ya know...

It's a great deal - go for it!

So, he is selling a 2013 for $11,200 and it is silver in color? I see that you are in PA? Tell us more, especially how he is getting a silver S10 in the USA.

If real, this is a STEAL of a price and opportunity. There are many here who have spent thousands more for the same bike!

We haven't forgotten you. (I haven't anyways)

Gotta say, you are a far more challenging sale than I was.
Hope you get what you worked for, AND that you enjoy it as much as I have.

Sounds like an excellent deal. You won't find any better on a new bike. What is the name of the dealer? I shopped all over PA for my pre-order deal, but came nowhere close to that. (if I recall my pre-order was 12,500 without taxes and tags added in.) Since I live in an area that has no dealers nearby, I have to drive a good distance no matter what I buy.
Maybe I'll check them on my next purchase.

Yeah that is a super deal! They are not all gone either, several out there advertised for 11,400 which stinks, can't sell mine used for nothing. Gonna have to hold on to mine, as it will not sell with such low prices on the new ones. I paid 12,900 before other stuff, never ever thought this bike would be hard to sell! Damn tough market I say.

Hey Tiger,

How's that HyperStrada treating you? I seriously love that bike but promised myself I wouldn't buy another Ducati after the QC issues I had with my '05 Multistrada. Does it have a plastic fuel tank that swells when it comes in contact with ethanol? Tell me you hate the bike so I can put it out of my mind, OK? ::025::

If true it is an incredible deal. I searched a long time for a leftover 2012 black (dealer in Stillwater has two) and it appears that 12,100 OTD was lowest price you could get if the dealer received before the price increase. I paid a grand over that for my 2013 Matte Gray and thought I got a great deal, but had no trade. If that is your deal go for it!!! STEAL of a deal.

I can't understand why that '13 is so cheap unless they're seriously undercutting what your trade is worth.
