Go early if you can. I left SLC area on April 27 and got home the first week of June and only had two days of the dreaded mosquito plague... Have a camera that you can quickly access and on a lanyard so you can also quickly drop it and ride away if whatever you're shooting at decides to 'approach' you....A bucket list trip for many, yes. Not for me. I'm sure it will be spectacular but I still have so many other "must rides" to get to. The distances and the mosquitoes don't interest me but my buddy and I go way back and he's a great planner and ride partner so what the hell. As far as challenging, I'll let those who have done it chime in on that one.
My 2020 ride plans include the Marble Falls rally, the PNW Tenere rally in Oregon, the Cache rally in Flaming Gorge, Utah. A trip to Key West...and...more (I hope) as it comes along.
