Baldone and I will be riding up on Friday the 23 from Jacksonville. If you guys would like to meet somewhere and ride together that would be cool. We are trying to get a bunky cabin too so if you need a place to stay we could split it. Just let me know.

Looks like we have a convoy. I'm leaving from St Pete after work on the 23rd, so I'll probably bunk down someplace in the middle, cut the drone time down on Saturday AM. If I don't see you on the road, I'll see you there.

I'm new to the ADV routes although I've been reading away about TET/TAT/MOAB and all other kinds of places in between. I'm off several days in advance of this event and will most certainly have to take this route on the way up... ::003::


Edit: Anyone headed up early from the FL flatlands ? Sounds like a fun route...will be my first time on it.

Appreciate the offer Chris, I'll be up there about 4 days before you....have a condo near Maggie Valley so will be commuting to the event so to speak.

The off-pavement rides are being designed for big trailie bikes like our Tenere's and for the average rider. So you wont need expert skills to get through them. A novice might struggle but it wouldn't be anything to be afraid of.

Ogre will be leading an all pavement ride for those that just don't feel comfy enough on the dirt.
