I have my OEM side cases, along with all hardware and instructions from my 2012 S10. I replaced them with Givi bags because I needed more room for long trips. I have been meaning to sell them, just too lazy to do anything about it. I can post pics if you're interested.

I am in agreement with the others. I've never had an issue accessing things with the quarter opening. I find it very usefull. As the others stated also, if you pack anything that won't fit through the quarter opening it takes seconds to change over to full-clamshell opening. They are great...
