Really digging my new Giantloop Fandango Pro (2018) Tankbag and Pannier Pockets!

You would be better off with the Great Basin Saddlebag from GiantLoop. The Coyote is too narrow with the passenger grab handles. The Great Basin is made for the bigger ADV bikes. I have one and have used in on my GS , KLR and now Tenere. Great bags!

    Case mounts?

They look like Givi but as you said, poor picture.

Feedback wanted on the T-Rex Racing skid plate

I have used TRex for their sport bike sliders for a while. I realized they did skid plates and crash bars for other styles when I had a Versys 1000. They made a nice set of crash bars. Anyway, great write up. It reminded me to go check them out and the plate looks really solid and well...

    OEM heated grips vs Oxford?

I have been pleased with the OEM grips. I have a 2017 non-es. I have oxfords on my atwin and they work great but on the S10 I like the integrated controls. Overall it was 100 bucks more to buy oem over oxford. While a little more expensive, all I had to do was put them on and plug in the...

    Bumot Defender Evo Pannier System

Yeah biggest difference is the beveled bottoms and corners. The plastic guards are bigger too. Really I like the look of the standard defender boxes as well, I just took the opportunity to get the newer model. The beveled bottoms also help prevent damage to the cases when you tip.

    Bumot Defender Evo Pannier System

I thought I would share some photos of the new Bumot Defender EVO Panniers for the Super T. Since buying my S10, I was looking for a good touring luggage solution (soft panniers are used for off road) I liked the Bumot Defender reviews and they seemed well priced compared to Givi, Touratech...

Interesting Snippet in this month's Bike Magazine UK

Coming from a slew of BMWs, KLRs, Versys 1000 and an Africa Twin (still have that one), the Super Tenere was always in the back of my mind as the "half the price" alternative to the GS. I can't explain why I didn't gravitate towards it previously. After my first 100 miles on my new 2017 I...

What do we now think of the bike

You say flashed - is there a specific ECU flash that is being used? Adding a power commander? Just picked up my bike. Awesome, but I did notice the twitchy throttle in sport mode. Not like I would use it when cruising around the parking lot though ;-)

2019 Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE LT

The Versys is a great sport touring bike but it is no ADV bike. I had a left over 2016 1000 LT and it was an excellent road bike but that is it. The inline four will lift the front wheel in the first three gears no problem. The ride modes and traction control were really good as well. Just...

Mak10 and DamMechanic - if you haven't done a loop on the Aufderheide HWY, you must. Fossil area is one of my favorite places to ride but Aufderheide is an amazing road to ride (when it is open). I moved to Oregon from Denver a few years ago specifically because the road and dirt riding is...

Hey Sierra1. Yep, thats a 1981 CJ8. It is pretty much stock with the original I-6 and running gear. Runs great, I use it as my fishing vehicle in the spring through fall, stays indoors during the winter.

Hey S10 fanatics I just picked up my new 2017 S10 yesterday. Already in love with it. I have an Africa Twin as well but I miss the ADV Touring and 2-up ability of the GS1200s I have had. Now I think I have the best of both worlds. I am quite impressed with the S10 and planning on using it...

    Heated Grips

Hi everyone. I just picked up a new leftover 2017 S10 non-ES. I am really excited to add this bike to my stable. I have an Africa Twin as well but the S10 will be my ADV tourer since it is way more comfortable! First addition are the oem heated grips. I purchased the parts individually...
