Hey S10 fanatics

I just picked up my new 2017 S10 yesterday. Already in love with it. I have an Africa Twin as well but I miss the ADV Touring and 2-up ability of the GS1200s I have had. Now I think I have the best of both worlds. I am quite impressed with the S10 and planning on using it for my Alaska trip in June. A set of new Bumot panniers should be arriving in a couple of weeks and heated grips will go on Friday (non-ES model)!

Anyone local, would love to hook up and do some riding when the weather permits. Today was actually a good day for a ride as well!

Hey Sierra1. Yep, thats a 1981 CJ8. It is pretty much stock with the original I-6 and running gear. Runs great, I use it as my fishing vehicle in the spring through fall, stays indoors during the winter.

Mak10 and DamMechanic - if you haven't done a loop on the Aufderheide HWY, you must. Fossil area is one of my favorite places to ride but Aufderheide is an amazing road to ride (when it is open). I moved to Oregon from Denver a few years ago specifically because the road and dirt riding is so epic. The Mount. St. Helens loop is also awesome in Washington.

Welcome. And I’m so jealous. Been wanting to move to Oregon for years. Really looked hard at the Eugene area but looks like that won’t work out. Too bad cause I love it there and I’d love it even more now that I have an S10.
