Bauce Racing Franklin, New Jersey dyno mapped my Tenere

Interesting chart showing the impact of Akrapovic slip on, same after dyno tuning, and finally Anthony at Bauce Racing tuned the bike again after installing the Arrow headers. The WOT HP gain is marginal at 3HP, but the gain mid-range is impressive and totally changes the bike for the better. It...

Bauce Racing Franklin, New Jersey dyno mapped my Tenere

I do not think so: Bauce Racing is owned and managed by Anthony Corbo at www.bauce-racing.com in Franklin NJ.

Bauce Racing Franklin, New Jersey dyno mapped my Tenere

After two weeks and about 600 miles, I can confirm the following: - The first three grear restriction removal and the reduced engine braking make commuting much more pleasurable. No more jerkiness or cars getting too close behind me when engine braking is less frequent (watch those mirrors!)...

Bauce Racing Franklin, New Jersey dyno mapped my Tenere

Akrapovic is a fortune at $800. That was my choice. Otherwise, it's $200 ECU license fee and dyno tuning can run $300 to $350. I would assume that subsequent bikes would take less time to tune right.

Bauce Racing Franklin, New Jersey dyno mapped my Tenere

I was getting tired of the abrupt engine braking and the lack of power in the first three gears. Since I was going to get the ECU flashed and dyno remapped, I also invested in an Akropovic slip on. Attached are the results: Baseline with slip on was 96.5 HP and we eventually reached 99.5 HP...

    hard time with transmission

Hi Cycledude, I have had the bike since Mid August and now have 2,700 miles on it. It is a 2017 left over. 600 miles service was completed and I intend to follow the maintenance schedule by the book. I do not think something is wrong but again I'll check with the dealer if a warranty claim can...

    hard time with transmission

Thanks for the feedback, especially your wise advise regarding a scooter, Dogdaze! Good to know it is just quirk. I will get the clutch fluid changed at the next service, just in case. Rode 2,600 miles in a month and I have become an S10 believer. What an easy bike to ride!

    hard time with transmission

Good morning, I could use some guidance regarding the transmission: if I slow to a stop in 3rd or higher gear, I cannot find neutral. Tried rocking the bike back and forth to no avail. Thank god the engine is torquey enought to pretty much starts of a stop in any gear up to 4th. This happens...

    New to the tenere world

Good morning, I picked up '17 Sand new leftover. Coming from a Rocket III roadster weighing 900Lbs, my first impression was like riding a bicycle with cadillac suspension. I put on about 1K miles a month and need a work horse. This one fits the bill to a T. Had a 2015 Multistrada in the past...
