    Long Distance Touring Tires

At the end of August, I'm departing on a 7500 mile trip. I need some good touring tires that will last the whole way. Any suggestions?

    FS: Parabellum Windscreen

I purchased this windscreen to replace my PowerBronze to give me a little more protection. Unfortunately, it's about 1" too tall for me. I'm 5'10" and ride with the seat on the high position and it's just tall enough to be bothersome because it splits my vision horizontally. It measures 25.5"...

    Alpinestars Alpha Touring Waterproof Boots

I've had these for less than a year. They are in pretty good shape, but my wife just got me some new boots for my birthday (yay!). They are indeed waterproof (tested). Comfy, and good quality. I wear a size 11, and they fit fine, but I would wager that they would fit an 11.5 as well. $150...

Buzzing Noise in Front End at Certain RPM

This one really annoys me. Has anyone else experienced a buzzing coming from the front at around 3500-4000 RPM? I can hear it when riding and find myself placing my hand in random places trying to find the source. So far, no luck. Any advice is appreciated.

    I don't get it

What's the deal with running auxillary lights? Be honest, you will probably never use them in the bike's lifetime. I can only think of one scenario in which they would serve a purpose, other than to make people think "wow, what an adventurer!" when they see the bike, and that is if you are...

    Ocoee, TN Trails

I rode down to Ocoee yesterday to ride some of the forest service roads. It was pretty fun, even with what could be considered street tires (although I think Yamaha feels they are 80/20). The ride down the interstate was wet, but I stayed mostly dry. I arrived at the Hardees in Ocoee at 9am and...
