Thanks, One of the cables is frayed and has some drag so I am going to order the set. When I unhooked the cables and the throttle body shaft the snap was back. The resistance is in the throttle body butterfly shaft and my guess is that is a result of the servo. If I had a new one to compare it...

This is an old thread but can anyone tell me if they have ever had a problem with the shaft not turning smoothly? I have a slow returning throttle but even with the cable unhooked at the servo it still doesn't "snap" back like every other throttle cable I have ever had.

The right hand mirror holds the upper handguard mount down, the heated grip kit relocates the mirror with a different housing, Yamaha supplies a bolt to replace the mirror.

Nobody? I guess this must be the unsolvable problem.

So some how I either lost the bolt or didnt tighten it and it vibrated out. Does anyone know where I can get one of those bolts? I have looked all over for them, no luck. Or does any one have a broken rt side mirror I can take apart? Thanks Ed

I did the same thing but mine went bouncing down the the road at 60 mph, seemed fine after some semi gloss black paint.

Well.....I tried to give it to the when I took the bike in, so I had to dig the old bulb out of the garbage. I really dont care but it would have been nice to take it when I offered.

Now they want the old light bulb, to make sure I didnt have a 100w bulb in it.

Well the good news, it is going to be covered under the YES warranty. The bad news they are back ordered with none in the country. :(
